They call themselves, the innovators, the pace-setters, the Hi-Tech Station, but whatever title they bestow themselves is a deserved one. Space 87.7 FM, a Sunyani-based Private Radio Station, the only station currently broadcasting 24hrs live on the internet in Ghana, will on Sunday, run a full, uninterrupted 90 minutes live commentary of the Black Stars-Congo DR crucial World Cup qualifier at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.

Speaking in interview from his office in Sunyani, Director of Space Fm, the never-satisfied Mr. Ransford Antwi (pictured) told ghanaweb that, the Station has received a lot of moral and spiritual support from Ghanaians living abroad, and therefore, this live commentary is to say thank you to them and also to get them closer home. He also commended the FA for allowing all media houses to cover the encounter without any restrictions, so as to ensure massive National support for the Black Stars.

According to Mr.Antwi, people should begin to take Space Fm serious, as the 24hrs live broadcast on the internet has come to stay. We really love to venture the unknown and what some would see as the unthinkable, and would continue to prove to the world that technology has no regard for geographical location or one?s age, doing this in Sunyani, the Brong Ahafo Regional Capital is so exciting for me as a native, he said. He has appealed to business institutions to support Space Fm, as they have a lot under their sleeves, and would continue to dazzle, not only in Ghana but worldwide.
