Ghana will miss the services of captain Lawrence Lartey for their final African Youth Championship Group A match against Algeria on Friday due to suspension.
The centre-back received his second yellow card of the tournament after a 43rd minute booking in Tuesday's 1-0 win over Benin.
Lartey has been a towering figure at the back and will be missed for his runs forward and timely interceptions at the back.
In his absence, Israel-based Baba Mensah will partner Joseph Attamah Larweh in Ghana's backline for the dicey encounter.
