Ghana fly into Nigeria

Ghana jetted into Port Harcourt on Friday morning for their crunch World Cup qualifier.

The Black Stars were originally due to travel on Thursday. The change of plan was due to the late arrival of four foreign-based players who were expected on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, respectively.

Charles Amoah of Austrian side Sturm Graz, the Italy-based duo of Mohammed Gargo and Stephen Appiah have been invited to face the Super Eagles.

Portuguese-based Emmanuel Duah is widely expected to captain the side on Sunday. Despite an obvious lack of interest from the fans, the Ghanaian media has been following the team's preparations in Winneba keenly.

The Black Stars, who are yet to receive their US$2,000 bonuses for beating Sudan, have again been promised the same amount if they shoot down the Super Eagles on Sunday.
