Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari stepped his recovery to full fitness by playing the entire duration for AC Milan’s Primavera side in Saturday’s League match.
Muntari, who has been sidelined since July when he ruptured anterior ligaments in his knee, helped the Rossoneri youth side to beat Modena 5-1.
He helped set-up Milan’s second goal when he found space in the middle of the field and played the ball forward to the striker Ganz whose goal came from Petagna’s rebound.
The 28-year-old was very aggressive on the pitch and put in a powerful performance both in attack and in defence.
Muntari’s return will delight the Milan technical set-up after the Rossoneri’s poor start to the season.
He will also be available for Ghana at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa next January.
