Ghana will pitch camp in Kenya ahead of their final World Cup play-off match against Egypt to be played in Kumasi on October 15.

Though the Black Stars will host the first leg match, the venue for the return match has not been decided owing to the volatile political situation in Egypt.

Football Kenya Federation President Sam Nyamweya has revealed to Goal that the team will set camp in Kenya for two weeks before their showdown against the Pharaohs.

“Ghana Football Association have been in touch with us and expressed interest to camp in Nairobi. As always we will accord them fantastic hospitality while in Kenya," said Nyamweya.

Ghana have always camped in Nairobi ahead of their major qualifiers. Prior to the 2010 World Cup held in South Africa, the team set up a two week camp in Naivasha. It is not yet clear whether the team will take on Harambee Stars in a build up match while in Nairobi.

Ghana FA have already revealed that the tie against Egypt will be played at Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi while the second leg is planned for between November 19. Two-leg ties will be played between both nations with the aggregate winner going to the finals in Brazil next year.

The Pharaohs have not been to the World Cup since 1990, while Ghana are aiming at their third successive appearance, having reached the quarter-finals in their last appearance in 2010.
