Ghana will have a three-day training camp in Portugal, ahead of their last World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde on 8 October.

The players are expected to assemble in Lisbon on 3 October, before flying to Cape Verde.

The four-time African champions will earn their maiden berth at the World Cup finals, should they secure a point from the game in Praia.

Ghana top Group Two of World Cup qualifying, ahead of DR Congo, on goals difference.

Ratomir Dujkovic, coach of the Black Stars, said the team will not play any friendly games in Lisbon ahead of the Praia game.

Games in the league championship, scheduled for 2 October, are expected to be postponed ahead of the World Cup qualifier.

The league will also go on a recess at the weekend, to accommodate King Faisal's African Confederations Cup match against Fello Stars of Guinea in Accra.
