USMA were comfortable 2-0 winners over Asante Kotoko of Ghana in the 1/8 Final of the Champions Champions League on Saturday

Mahieddine Meftah opened the scoring for the home side after 16 minutes and Moncef Ouichaoui sealed it 13 minutes from time.

Kotoko had two players sent off in the second half. Kweku Ewffien was the first to see red and Joseph Hendricks followed him five minutes before the end of the game.

The Ghanaian side's German coach Hans-Dieter Schmidt was also sent from the sidelines near the end of the second half.

He got his first on 26 minutes, cancelling out Beffan Daassi's opener for the Tunisians, and then secured the winner in injury time - after two penalties in five minutes, one for either side, had taken the score to 2-2.
