ITALY

Kwadwo Asamoah lasted 76 minutes in Juventus’ 3-0 victory over Siena as they once again stretched their lead at the top of Serie A to 6 points.

Elsewhere, Kevin Prince Boateng played 81 minutes and Sulley Muntari was substituted in injury time as AC Milan’s were held 1-1 by City rivals, Inter who did not feature teenager Joseph Duncan whilst Emmanuel Agyemang Badu played the entire match in Udinese’s goalless stalemate with Napoli on Monday night.

Isaac Coffie played for 77 minutes before he was substituted for Chievo Verona as they lost 0-2 Sampdoria and Amidu Salifu came on as a 75hminute substitute for Catania in their 2-1 win at Parma.

FRANCE

John Boye scored on his return to Ligue 1 action but John Mensah is still sidelined with injury for Rennes in their 2-2 draw with Sochaux for whom Ishmael Yartey did not even make the bench. Andre Dede Ayew played all 90 minutes but could not help Marseille suffer a 0-2 loss to Ligue 1 leaders, PSG but kid brother, Jordan was still out suspended whilst Mohammed Rabiu played 87 minutes but compatriot Jonathan Mensah did not feature for Evian TG who lost 0-1 to Montpellier.

Elsewhere, Samuel Inkoom was only a benchwarmer for Bastia in their 0-0 draw at Troyes, same as Michael Abu who only watched from the bench as Lorient lost 3-1 at Lyon.

ENGLAND

Black Stars’ chasing Emmanuel Frimpong did not even make the Fulham squad that beat Stoke 1-0 in the Premiership. In the championship, Albert Adomah came off the bench in the 76th minute to push Bristol City to a 5-3 win over Barnsley to move within 3 points of safety but Prince Buabeng still has yet to kick a ball for Watford this season after again missing their 2-1 win over Derby County. Manchester United target, Jeffrey Schulpp again missed Leicester City’s goalless draw at Blackpool.

SPAIN

Michael Essien started and lasted an hour before he was replaced as Real Madrid rallied to beat Deportivo La Coruna 2-1 but Anthony Annan and Mubarak Wakaso were both absent for Osasuna and Espanyol respectively.

GERMANY

Teenage international, Afriyie Acquah was completely absent from the Hoffeinheim squad that lost 1-2 at Augsburg but 18 year old Abdul Rahman Baba once again featured for all 90minutes ’s for relegation bound Greuther Furth who this time managed a point via a goalless stalemate against Bayer Leverkusen. BELGIUM Rahim Ayew was still out suspended but Richard Ofori featured for 90 minutes and set up Lierse’s opening goal as they won battle of the bottom 3-1 over Beerschot and 30 year old Francis Dickoh played all 90 minutes but could help his bottom club, Cercle Brugge avoid another loss, 0-2 to Gent with their march to relegation growing ever inevitable. Enock Kofi Adu was on the bench throughout for Club Brugge who gave up a two goal lead to draw 2-2 with leaders, Anderlecht but Abdul-Yajinu was absent for Mechelen who lost 1-2 to OH Leuven whilst Albert Kudemor’s Sporting Chaleroi had their game against Zulte-Waregem postponed.

Bernard Yao Kumordzi’s Genk was an unused substitute but Daniel Opare was completely absent for Standard Liege in their 0-0 draw.

HOLLAND

Kwame Quansah lasted all game for Almelo Heracles and provided one assist as they lost 3-5 to Vitesse whilst in the clash of Dutch born Ghanaians, Johan Kapelhoff featured all match for Groningen as they beat PEC Zwolle who had on 90 minutes action, Fred Benson Elsewhere, the injured Nana Kwesi Asare was absent for Utrecht who hammered Roda JC 4-0, Mattew Amoah’s Heerenveen won 2-1 against Twente but the former Ghana striker was again absent and Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Memphis Depaywas again on the bench for PSV in their 1-2 loss at Feyenoord.

PORTUGAL

David Addy played all 90 minutes but could not help Vitoria Guimaraes lose 2-3 at Sporting Braga but injury ruled Christian Atsu out of Porto’s 2-1 win over his former club, Rio Ave.

Elsewhere, William Tiero was completely absent but teenage compatriot, Thomas Agyiri was on the bench for Gil Vicente in their goalless draw at Moreinrense.

TURKEY

Jerry Akaminko scored his first goal for Eskisehirspor as they came from a goal down to force a 2-2 draw at Istanbul BB.

In the second tier 1.Lig, Torric Jebrin played for 82 minutes before he was substituted with his side, 1461 Trabzon leading but they eventually drew 1-1 at Manisaspor.

Elsewhere, Emmanuel Banahene played all 90 minutes as Karsiyaka were held goalless by Gaziantep BB but Karim Alhassan was absent from the match day squad as Adana Demirspor drew 1-1at Adanaspor. Credit:
