Over the weekend most Ghanaian players distinguished themselves.

Sulley Muntari, Albert Adomah, Kevin Prince Boateng and David Accam were among a host of Ghanaian players on target with Gideon Baah receiving the marching orders in Finland.

England

In the Premier League, Derek Boateng replaced Giorgios Karagounis in the 60th minute as Fulham beat Stoke City 1-0.

Michael Essien was an unused substitute as Chelsea beat Norwich City 3-1.

In the Championship, Albert Adomah scored in the 24th minute and played the full match as Middlesbrough thrashed Yeovil Town 4-1.

Jeffrey Schlupp replaced Lloyd Dyer in the 71st minute as Leicester City lost 0-1 to Doncaster Rovers.

In League 2, Patrick Agyemang was replaced by Andrew Barcham in the 80th minute as Portsmouth beat Rochdale 3-0.

Spain

In La Liga, Richmond Boakye Yiadom replaced Coro seven minutes from time as Elche beat Espanyol 2-1.

Germany

In the Bundesliga, Kevin Prince Boateng converted a 16th minute penalty and was replaced by Max Meyer in the 68th minute as Schalke 04 thrashed Augsburg 4-1.

In 2.Bundesliga, Marcel Appiah played the full match as Arminia Bielefeld lost 0-3 to Kaiserslautern.

Charles Takyi replaced Marco Stiepermann in the 39th minute and was booked in the 58th minute as Energie Cottbus drew 0-0 with 1860 Munich.

In 3.Liga, Pius Ofosu Ayeh played the full match as MSV Duisburg lost 0-1 to Elversberg.

Italy

In Serie A, Afriyie Acquah replaced Jaime Valdes in the 81st minute and was booked in injury time as Parma beat Sassuolo 3-1. Raman Chibsah was an unused substitute for Sassuolo.

Isaac Cofie was an unused substitute as Genoa drew 1-1 with Catania, for whom Kingsley Boateng was an unused substitute.

Joseph Andrew Duncan played the full match as Livorno lost 0-4 to Napoli.

Emmanuel Agyemang Badu replaced Giampiero Pinzi in the 70th minute as Udinese beat Cagliari 2-0.

Sulley Muntari scored in the 1st and 90th minutes, booked in injury time and played the full match as AC Milan lost 2-3 to Juventus, for whom Kwadwo Asamoah also played the full match.

In Serie B, Amidu Salifu was booked in the 78th minute and played the full game as Modena lost 1-2 to Empoli.

In Ligue 1, Andre Ayew converted a 34th minute penalty and played the full game, whilst younger brother Jordan was replaced by Andre Pierre Gignac in the 67th minute as Marseille lost 1-2 to Paris Saint Germain.

In Ligue 2, Kwame N’Sor scored in the 59th minute and was replaced by Luciano Teixeira in the 84th minute as Metz beat Chateauroux 1-0.

Netherlands

In the Eredivisie, Shadrach Eghan was replaced by Youness Mokhtar at half time as Twente beat Cambuur 1-0.

Fred Benson played the full match as PEC Zwolle drew 0-0 with Roda JC.

Jeffrey Sarpong was replaced by Elson Hooi in the 87th minute as NAC Breda beat Heracles 2-1, Kwame Quansah was replaced by Simon Cziommer in the 83rd minute, whilst Matthew Amoah replaced Thomas Bruns in the 86th minute for Heracles.

Frank Acheampong replaced Matias Suarez at half time as Anderlecht lost 0-1 to Kortrijk.
