Standard Liege 2 - 50 Van Dooren, 85 Lukunku

Fourth-placed Standard Liege were made to work against an Eendracht Aalst side made up of youth and reserve team players. George Blay started and played the full game. The visitors didn't breach the Aalst defence until the 54th minute. The hosts then shocked their opponents by equalising, before Ali Lukunku snatched a winner for Standard six minutes from time.

CZECH
A stunning late goal by substitute Gyan Baffour gave leaders Slovan Liberec all three points and ensured they took a decisive advantage in the race for the Czech title with three games remaining. The powerful strike with six minutes to go left the home side seven points clear of Viktoria Zizkov, who have a game in hand, and nine ahead of reigning champions Sparta Prague.

Slovan coach Ladislav Skorpil, who led the club to the Uefa Cup quarter-finals, said: "We were waiting for a bit of genius from one player to decide the game and Baffour's shot was just that. It's another step on the road to the title."

Just when Liberec's dominance was dwindling, Baffour, who had come on at half-time for Ivan Hodur after a clash of heads, made a strong run down the left touchline, cut inside Rene Bolf and fired an unstoppable shot just inside the far post.
