Grazer AK moved within two points of city-rivals Sturm Graz and kept alive their hopes of claiming the second Champions' League place by beating Austria Vienna on Sunday. Adu Tutu scored from the spot on 64 minutes and substitute Roland Kollmann doubled GAK's lead 13 minutes later to hand Austria their first defeat in seven games, virtually ending their Uefa Cup qualification hopes.

Thursday 25th April 2002 -- League runners-up Sturm Graz needed two late strikes to see off stubborn resistance from second-division side Bad Bleiberg and book a place in the final of the Memphis Cup on Wednesday.
Armin Hobel's 18-yarder gave the visitors a surprise lead on 25 minutes before a defensive blunder set up Sturm's equaliser. Ghana star Charles Amoah stroked home eight minutes before half-time.

Friday 26th April 2002 -- Grazer AK will take on local rivals Sturm Graz in the Austrian Cup final after beating Salzburg 2-0 courtesy of extra-time goals from Adu Tutu and Ghanaian born Swede Jones Kusi-Asare. Tutu broke the deadlock after a smart counter-attack a mere minute into extra-time while Kusi Asare added a second with only seconds to go.

The final will now be played at the Arnold-Schwarzenegger ground in Graz rather than Vienna's 50,000 Ernst-Happel stadium
