Gideon Baah handed Black Stars call up

HJK Helsinki have confirmed that their defender Gideon Baah has been called up for the first time by Ghana for next month’s friendlies against Canada and Peru.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is yet to reveal its final list for the friendly against Canada scheduled for Washington on 13 October.

But the Finnish club has announced that they have received an invitation from the GFA inviting the former Asante Kotoko defender to the national team for international duty.

Baah will now join Avram Grant’s side in Washington, D.C. for two international friendlies against Peru on Oct. 9 and Canada on Oct. 13.
