Ghana and New York Red Bull defender Gideon Baah is slowly making progress from the leg injury that has threatened to rule him out for the rest of the season.
The defender picked up a thigh problem back in June in a game against Columbus Crew and subsequently went under the knife.
Baah was ruled out for six months but the rate at which he is healing the Ghanaian could be back in time before the MLS season comes to an end.
In a space of 40 days Baah has begun walking and will swiftly move into the next level of recovery to fasten his return to the pitch.
The former Asante Kotoko man moved to the MLS after seeing a dream move to Barcelona fall through.
