  • Lazio are trying to sign Udinese's Gyan Asamoah in a bid to strengthen the side for next season

  • Sammy Adjei will remain at his Israeli side, Ashdod, until the end of the season. Ashdod has decided not to sign Tom Almadon because maccabi haifa didnt release him.

  • (The Independent)- Asamoah Gyan be will joining Manchester City in a deal worth £6.5 million. The deal is expected to be completed before the Africa Nations Cup, which starts on the 20th of January.

  • The agent of Ahmed Barusso will meet with Roma officials next week to discuss the midfielder's future. "After the holidays, I'll meet with Roma to define the future of Barusso," said Mauro Cevoli. "He is happy with the Giallorosso because he has the chance to train with so many great champions.

    "If the club were to choose an experience elsewhere, it would be better to go to another Serie A team."

  • Manchester City want Asamoah Gyan. Sven Goran Eriksson is expected to make an offer of 8 million euros in Jnuary

  • (Ghanasoccernet) -- Austrian side FC Wacker have announced the capture of last season's Ghana league top scorer Emmanuel Atukwei Clottey from Accra Great Olympics. Wacker also revealed that they have also secured the signature of Ghana under-23 defender Alfred Arthur of Ashgold but that deal is yet to be confirmed by the Obuasi club.

    Wacker announced that they have agreed a loan deal with the two players until the end of the season and the deal could be made permanent if they impress.

  • (Daily Mirror) Portsmouth’s good form this season has brought many of their talents to the attentions of the ‘bigger’ clubs; the latest to attract attention is Sulley Muntari, who is the latest on Rafa Benitez's Liverpool wish list. Apparently, the 23-year-old former Udinese man will be a target should Rafa not secure the £17m needed to make Javier Mascherano a permanent feature at Anfield. The Muntari move could well happen. While Pompey are indeed riding high, it would be hard for him to turn down the deal - and the estimated £14m cost would be slightly less than the fee for Mascherano.

  • 12.12.07: Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Louis Agyemang has re-surfaced again in South Africa at First Division side Dynamos just months after being released by the Soweto giants and heading off to Tunisia. Since being deemed surplus at the South African side at the end of last season the 24-year-old was thought to have signed a deal with Etoile du Sahel.

    Agyemang arrived at Chiefs from Hearts of Oak along with coach Ernest Middendorp before the start of the 2005/06 season showing early promise before fading from the scene. He was part of Ghana’s national team at the 2006 African Cup of Nations in Egypt

  • Andre Laryea failed trials at AS Khroub in Algeria. He did not impress the coach. Dong Bortey did not impress on trials at Mouloudia Clud d'Alger, but has been given another chance

  • Ibrahim Salou has lost his regular place at Club Brügge and may leave in January for Romania side, Rapid Bucharest. Salou went to Brügge from Zulte Waregem for the fee of €1.5m.

  • Germany-based striker Isaac Boakye could be offloaded by his club Wolfsburg in January for poor performance.

  • Michael Annan (22 years old, central defender) and Ebenezer Aryee (22 years old, offensive midfielder/striker are heading for Vietnam for 3 weeks trial with Vietnamese Premier league clubs.

  • Cypriot club AEL LIMASSOL, which from last week has as trainer the ex-coach of Ghana Mariano Barreto is about to seal the transfer of striker Moses Sakyi

  • According to this source Emmanuel Clottey and Alfred Arthur will join Austrian side Wacker Innsbruck. Appearantly they were sent the contracts already and only need to sign to seal the deals. They will be signed until the summer with the option for an extension

  • FSV Mainz is interested in Isaac Boakye. The 26 year old has a contract with Wolfsburg 'til 2009.

  • Abass Inusah tells Kick Off magazine that he will be teaming up with First Division Ankaragucu in January. The 25-year-old Ghanaian defender went for a trial at Ankaragucu last season. He was successful but could not be signed because the transfer window was closed at the time. This will be his second move to Europe, having spent six months at Mattersburg in Austria.

  • Bielefeld is interested in Derek Debra who plays in Malaysia.

  • Bernard Dong-Bortey (Hearts of Oak) will be signed by Algerian side MC Alger (mid-table in the league).

    • November 28, 2007: Cagliari are chasing Roma midfielder Ciro Barusso. New Cagliari coach Nedo Sonetti wants to stiffen his midfield and sees the Ghana international as the ideal ball-winner his team has been crying out for.

    • 21.11.2007 - Manchester City are planning a ?6million swoop on Udinese striker Asamoah Gyan. The 21-year-old scored the fastest goal in last year's World Cup after just 63 seconds against the Czechs. He admitted: "I am aware that Manchester City have nearly completed negotiations with my club, so hopefully I will be playing in England next season."

    • 19.11.2007: Roma midfielder Ciro Barusso is seeking a move away in January. The midfielder says he wants to leave Roma for regular football and is already attracting interest from Genoa. Cagliari have also expressed interest in Barusso ahead of the winter market.

    • Manchester City's scouting net has trawled in two of the most promising young players in Africa. Ghanaian Ransford Osei, a star of the recent U17 World Cup, and Matthew Edile, whose penalty shoot-out goal helped Nigeria win the tournament, are both having trials with the club.
