Ghana forward Patrick Twumasi could sign for Turkish Superlig side Goztepe after the Izmir-based club made a 2 million Euros offer for him on Tuesday.
The Astana attacker is on his way out of the Kazakhstani Premier League with so many clubs vying for his signature and he is expected to seal a move outside before the Wednesday night winter transfer window deadline.
French Ligue 1 outfit Caen were the frontrunners for the signature of the 23-year-old having made a 1 million Euros on Monday but according to Turkish tabloid Fotomac, Goztepe have also started negotiations with Astana and they are ready to offer an amount of 2 million Euros.
Twumasi netted fourteen league goals and another nine in European competitions as Astana retained the league trophy and also booked their place in the 2017/2018 Europa League second round.
Hamburg, Celtic, Bursaspor and Koln are also said to be eyeing a move for him.
