Grant arrives in local Black Stars camp ahead of Japan friendly

Ghana coach Avram Grant has joined the local Black Stars team ahead of the international friendly against Japan on Wednesday.

Grant arrived at the team’s base in Japan on Monday for the game which will be used to raise funds for the victims of an earthquake disaster in the Asian country last month.

The Israeli is expected to hand technical support to coach Maxwell Konadu who will be in charge of the team.

The 60-year-old will however return to his base in England immediately after the game on Wednesday.

Ghana’s contingent arrived in Japan on Sunday for the game at the National Olympic Stadium in Tokyo.
