Grant delighted with side’s impressive form

Black Stars coach Avram Grant says his side showed swagger and form during their AFCON qualifiers after picking up 13 points from their first five games.

Grant has been given a two year contract to win the AFCON trophy after Ghana’s failure to win the title in 33 years.

The 60-year-old Israeli coach says his team showed tremendous form throughout the qualifiers.

“Well we played very well throughout the qualifiers and we deserve to qualify,” Grant said

“I think that in the game against Mauritius was a difficult game especially in the first half.”

“But we have quality players and we have shown this all through the qualifiers.”
