Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu believes Avram Grant is a blessing to the west African country.
Grant, who took over the Black Stars late last year, has steered the Black Stars to the quarter-finals stage of the Africa Cup of Nations 2015.
The Udinese midfielder said the four-time African champions won their last two group games to make it to the last-eight because the Israeli is a very good coach.
“He is a wonderful man; not even as a coach, but as a person,” Badu told Accra-based Joy FM. “Apart from the coaching side, he is very inspirational. He is one of the coaches I have met in my life who give confidence to his players and this is what keeps us going.”
He added: “Every time he sets an example for you to know that you can do it; just focus, concentrate and you will do it. With such a great coach and good man like this, I think he is a blessing to mother Ghana.
“We adapted to his strategies because we are all professionals. We have adapted so well that I was even surprised how we adapted so well like that.”
Ghana will play Guinea in the quarter-finals of the Afcon 2015 on Sunday.
