Greedy ex-Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has been snubbed by Egypt as American Bob Bradley has been appointed to take charge of the Pharaohs.

The Serbian coach who is known for chasing the money was the favourite to take over from Hassan Shehata.

But he displayed his appetite for the cash before the Egyptians as he did when he snubbed to Black Stars last year to sign for Saudi side Al Ahli.

The Serbian manager’s excessive financial demands led to Egypt picking Bradley who was the second-best for the post after he was interviewed by EFA chairman Samir Zaher.

“Serbian Rajevac exaggerated on his financial demands,” Egyptian Football Association (EFA) spokesman Azmy Megahed said.

Rajevac has been famous for chasing the cash since the performance of the Black Stars catapulted him to international prominence.

He was an unknown coach when he was handed the Ghana post 2008 but after successes at the Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup he told the Ghana FA that he had extended his contract.

But GHANAsoccernet.com exposed Rajevac few days after making the declaration as he was pictured signing a contract with the side Al Ahli.

He repeated a similar thing in Saudi when he told his employers he was quitting the post to care for his ailing wife.

But few days later he signed a contract to coach Qatar where he was sacked after some unimpressive outings by the national team.
