Green Grass Technology is still demanding an unspecified amount of money from Asante Kotoko for the construction of the club’s two training pitches after suspending an earlier decision to go to court. The Ghanaian-owned firm, owned by former head grounds man at Fulham Frank Boahene, was in-charge of Kotoko’s Adarko Jachie project.

The company had earlier planned to take legal action against the Ghanaian giants but had to rescind their decision after interacting with the club’s board chairman.

“I have spoken to the board chairman and he has told me to write to the club as a reminder, therefore I will have to suspend the court action for now,” Boahen disclosed.

“I have produced two world class training pitches for the club and I have not been paid for even one. It is unfair.

“But then I have been given the opportunity again to express my feelings to the board and we’ll see how it goes.”

Green Grass Technology maintains the pitches at the stadia in the country.

They constructed four training pitches when Ghana hosted the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations.
