Captain Asamoah Gyan is a major doubt for Ghana against Rwanda due to a troubled knee.
The Shangai SIPG forward has been battling with a swell on his right knee since joining the Black Stars camp in Cogo earlier this week for preparations towards the second group game in the ongoing 2017 Afcon qualifiers.
Gyan had missed a couple of training sessions and was back with the team in their final training at the Amahoro Stadium on Friday.
But the all-time Ghana top scorer (at 48 goals in 90 matches) pulled out of the session showing signs of uneasiness. Gyan will however be further assessed by the Black Stars medics to determine if he could play a part of Saturday's encounter with the Amavubis.
Head coach Avram Grant could partner Aston Villa forward Jordan Ayew and Richmond Boakye Yiadom upfront in his starting line-up to face Rwanda.
Probable Ghana XI
