Hamburg SV fans have taken to Twitter to blast manager Bruno Labaddia for dropping Ghanaian starlet Gideon Jung from his squad for their 3-0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday.
The highly-rated midfielder was expected to play for the Dinosaurs on the eve of his 21st birthday after recovering from a muscle problem but was left out of the squad.
Jung, who had started all three of Hamburg’s games before the trip to Monchengladbach, was mysteriously omitted from Labaddia’s 18-man squad and replaced with Austrian youngster Michael Gregoritsch.
Fans of the club took to Twitter to express their disapproval of Labaddia’s decision omitting him from the squad.
