ACCRA Hearts of Oak's new recruit, Hamza Mohammed says the Glo Premier League leaders will offer him the perfect platform he needs to revive his professional career hence his decision to pitch camp with them. The former Kotoko and RTU midfielder who is back in the country after a two- year stint in Romania, has signed a one year deal with Hearts. It will be recalled that two seasons ago Hamza was on the verge of joining Hearts from King Faisal, but the deal fell through at the last hour after both clubs failed to agree on financial terms. Speaking to 90 MINUTES, the midfielder intimated that despite the interest from local premiership clubs and others from Libya and Tunisia, he opted to join the former African champions because of the platform they will offer him.

It's got nothing to do with money, if so I would have moved to either Tunisia or Libya. It was purely on decisions that borders on my future as a player,” he said. Hamza, like goalkeeper Sammy Adjei joined Hearts on a free transfer hours before the deadline of the second player transfer window and has promised to bring his experience to bear on the fortunes of the Phobians in both the domestic and the CAF Champions League. “The club has brought in some talented players which shows they are very serious about winning titles. I hope my inclusion will benefit the club to win laurels this season.”
