Harrison Afful to extend Esperance contract

Ghana defender Harrison Afful is expected to sign a new two-year contract with Esperance.

The lateral defender’s contract with the Tunisians expired in June of this year and there had been reports he would leave the Red and Gold’s after almost five years with them.

Allsports.com.gh understands that management of Esperance are offering an improved deal for the player that will bind the player till 2017.

Afful has been a staple for the Tunisians since he joined them including scoring the winning goal in their CAF Champions League triumph in 2011.

He is also a regular member of the Ghana national team,the Black Stars and played in two of the team’s games at the World Cup in Brazil.
