Hearts of Oak’s goalkeepers trainer Edward Ansah has been raving about the attributes of new signing Soulama Abdoulaye.

The Burkina Faso international goalkeeper agreed to sign for the Phobians on a free transfer after he was released by rivals Asante Kotoko.

He has been training with the club and featured in friendly matches.

Abdoulaye’s exploits between the sticks have earned a ring of endorsement from his trainer Ansah, an ex-Ghana goalkeeper.

“Soulama comes to the team with a different style all together. He is very athletic and can command his defense easily if need be. I like him and the players respect him as well,” Ansah told sportscrusader.com.

“He is a fighter and from the little I have seen of him these past days, I think he will succeed because he acts professionally and the other keepers are also learning from him.

“I think when it comes to experience, he can boast of international exposure, something I believe he will bring to bear on the team in the coming season.”
