Hearts/Lions match fixed for Accra

Accra, Sept. 6, GNA - Defending League Champions Accra Hearts of Oak play host to Kpando Heart of Lions at Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday and not the Cape Coast Stadium as previously announced.

A statement issued and signed by Kwaku Ampim Darko, Deputy General Secretary, Technical, said the new decision follows an application of a stay of execution filed by Hearts with regards to a three-match ban placed on it by the disciplinary committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

The GFA on Thursday slapped a three-match ban on the club for the unruly behaviour of its fans during last Sunday's epic premier encounter with Asante Kotoko where irate home fans ripped of the plastic chairs at the May 9 stands and hurled them unto the inner perimeter.
