Accra, Oct. 30, GNA - The Council of Patrons of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has entrusted powers of the day-to-day administration of the Club on the Board Chairman, E.M. Commodore Mensah. The decision was taken after an emergency meeting of the Council last Wednesday to discuss the future of the Club. A statement signed by Harry Sawyerr, President of the Council of Patrons copied to GNA Sports stated that the Board Chairman remains the sole spokesperson on matters and issues concerning the Club. Harry Sawyerr cautioned that any individual or organ that violates the directive will be dealt with according to the rules of the Club. "All complaints received are being handled by the Council of Patrons itself and are being given the necessary attention it deserves." Harry Sawyerr therefore urged all stakeholders especially the Board of Directors, National Chapters Committee, AHOOPA and Hearts Ladies among others to ceasefire immediately to allow for peace to prevail. He said the Council meanwhile takes very strong exception to the frequent press releases and interviews by individuals to the various media houses and directs that such behaviour should henceforth cease immediately
