This years Glo Premier league has been relatively competitive compared to previous ones according to C.E.O of Upper West based Wa All Stars, Mr. Oduro Nyarko but has warned incidents in the final day matches can mar the entire league if care is not taken.

In an interview with Sunyani Based radio Station Dinpa Fm, Mr. Oduro Nyarko claimed information reaching him from sources close to Accra Hearts of Oak suggest the club would want to play a match of convinience with Kpando Heart of Lions at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Wednesday's match day 30 of the Glo Premier League in order to help the latter qualify for the coveted Top 4 tournament at the expense of Wa All Stars who also play relegated Secondi XI Wise at Wa. He said the source gave reasons as to why Hearts Of Oak would want to plot this as that, Wa All Stars for two consecutive seasons has been an impediment towards Heart's league apirations as All Stars played a much more determined game to secure a 1-1 drawn game against Hearts last season at the Ohene Djan Stadium, a time Hearts were yearning fo the league trophy.

Again All stars has been the only club to beat Hearts at both home and away this season and they also claim his side also played a match of convinience last week against Ashgold who were keenly contesting the league with Hearts.

This in combinatiom with other factors are the reason why Lions would be favoured by Hearts to play in the top 4 after the latter winning to make the scores at Wa unecessary."Matches should be won on merit and not on friendly grounds, Lions have had their fair share of the top 4 but with their form this season, they dont deserve qualificatrion " he said.

Nothwithstanding this Mr. Nyarko stressed on the respect he has for Hearts of Oak and he is of much belief they would not lie so low.

Lions and All Stars lie 4th and 5th respectively on the log with 43 points apiece.
