Hearts Supporters Agitate For Coach's Dismissal

Supporters of Hearts of Oak want their Serbian coach Vucicevic Nebojsa sacked six clear days to the start of the Premier League campaign.
This follows Saturday’s 3-1 loss suffered at the hands of bitterest rivals, Asante Kotoko in the innovative two-legged pre-season friendly dubbed ‘The Super 2’.
The irate fans claim the Serbian trainer lacks the tactics and communication skills required to restore the Accra-based club to its past glory.
This stand is also shared by the supporter’s representative on the club’s management, Aziz Haruna Futa who says will be making this plea official to management when they meet.
“I agree with what the supporters are saying because the coach has nothing to offer to Accra Hearts of Oak,” he told Asempa FM.
“The coach cannot even effectively communicate with the players and therefore the need to sack him to avoid any embarrassment in the upcoming league.
“I will be making this case the next time management meets; we need to change the coach immediately because despite in my view a very good recruitment exercise he has been unable to deliver so far in the pre-season matches played.”
The 49-year-old took over from Paa Kwasi Fabin who decided to resign last January after a chain of unimpressive results.
Hearts begin the 2011/2012 league season with a tough away trip to Berekum Arsenals on Sunday.
