Hearts of Oak's application for a Stay of Execution of the Disciplinary Committee's ruling handing them a three-match empty stadium ban and a GH¢12,000 fine has been dismissed.

The Phobians were handed the ban and the fine after they were charged on three counts for the unruly behaviour of their fans during their league match against Wa All Stars at home.

A ruling dated 13 May, 2016: "After reading the application filed by the applicant and upon hearing the submissions made by Oloboi Commodore on behalf of the applicant, the committee is of the view that the application has no merits and is hereby dismissed."

Early on Monday, the state-owned Graphic Sports reported that Hearts were successful with their appeal and have the ban overturned.

The Phobians were to play two matches home-away-from-home at venues to be determined by the Premier League board but will pay an increased fine of GH¢15,000.

But that is yet to be official communicated by the Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association.
