Fresh from two victories in the Ghana Premier League, Hearts of Oak coach Kenichi Yastuhashi is satisfied with the confidence in his dressing room ahead of their upcoming fixture against Ebusua Dwarfs.

With doubts about his ability to lead the Phobians across the new campaign surrounding the team initially, Hearts’ two wins from two matches, against Edubiase United and Medeama, seem to have doused criticism from many quarters.

“We’re gradually getting there after everything that happened before the season kicked off. Our next target is against Ebusua Dwarfs,” Yastuhashi told Goal.

“I have never seen our dressing room brimming with such confidence. Everyone is happy now but I believe we'll continue with the good work.

“The players’ hard work and vociferous supporters are among the reasons we are performing well. Six points out of six is a good sign that we're on the right track but we hope for the best again next weekend,” he added.

Hearts broke a 49-year-old jinx by defeating Medeama at the T&A Park in Tarkwa on Sunday, with Yastuhashi becoming the first manager to defeat Yellow and Mauve at home.

Hearts are currently second on the log, tied on six points with leader's Wa All Stars who have a better goal difference.
