Accra, Nov. 2, GNA - Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday defeated Wa All Stars 2-1 in friendly football match at the Ohene Djan Stadium, Accra. Hearts scored the first goal through Hassan Mohammed in the 25th minute when he connected home a corner kick beautifully executed by the talismatic Charles Taylor.
The Phobians increased the tally in the 79th minute through the PLB Discovery of the season, Kofi Abanga. Visiting All Stars Aminu Fuseini managed to secure a consolation goal for his side in the 81st minute and his effort gingered his colleagues to put in extra effort in search for an unsuccessful equalizer.
Hearts on the other hand also made some attempts to increase their goal tally but Rapheal Obeng, Eric Gawu and Douglas Nkrumah could not capitalize on the begging chances that came their way till the final whistle.
