Hearts of Oak are divided over the future of embattled coach Mohammed Polo, the club’s chief supporter Aziz Haruna Futah has revealed.
The future of the ex-Ghana international has been hugely speculated in the local media after the team lost 3-0 at home against All Stars.
Polo has come under intense pressure to quit after seeing his side beaten back-to-back for the first time this season.
While he remains adamant about resigning from the position, the board and management team are also divided over their next line of action.
The iconic Hearts figure has received the backing of controversial board chairman Togbe Afede against the will of most Phobian fans.
Former management member Aziz Futah claims the top brass of the club are unsure about the long-term future of the coach.
“I can tell you on authority that the board and management are divided over the issue,” Futah said.
“There is no definite decision on Polo. That’s the problem we’re facing now. The club cannot take a decision and it’s very worrying.”
Hearts travel to Dorma to face Aduana Stars in their next fixture.
