Circling reports say Hearts of Oak grossed GHC 60,000 at the gate in their Ghana Premier League opener against New Edubiase at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Phobians had one of their biggest crowds (excluding the derby clash against Kotoko) in four seasons.
But the club are yet to officially comment on this.
The spectators included members of the Japanese Community in the country who were there in their numbers to support compatriot Kenichi Yatsuhashi, the Hearts of Oak.
