Hearts management and coach in player transfer fix

The technical team of Accra Hearts of Oak and their management are engaged in a silent war over which players to sign for the impending season according to sources within the rainbow club.

According to the source, even though a number of high players from some lower division clubs who are currently training with the team have impressed coach CK Akunnor, management appear to be sceptical about signing the players.

“Some of the players I have seen myself and I can tell you that I they are very good players who may not even cost the team that much if they decide to sign them but it appears management is not considering signing them” the source said.

On whether the players in question are the type coach C K Akunnor was happy about and would want to sign, the source said from all indications, the coach is happy about the players’ performances and if given the chance would want to sign the players.

Hearts of Oak who have so far signed in-form striker Gilbert Fiamenyo from fellow premiere League side Hearts of Lions are seeking to add more players to their set up following a disappointing outing last season.

Hearts of Oak ended last season’s Glo Premiere League campaign in a third place; two places behind their arch rivals Asante Kotoko.
