Hearts are missing the service of their versatile defender Joseph Owusu Bempah, the club’s spokesman Muheeb Saeed has said.
Bempah is currently on international duty with Ghana at the ongoing Africa Youth Championship in Senegal.
The youngster has captained the Black Satellites to qualify for the 2015 World Youth Championship after a comeback 2-1 win over Zambia on Thursday.
Hearts spokesman Muheed Saeed admits the former African champions are missing the services of the versatile player ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup against Senegalese side Olympique De Ngor.
“Owusu Bempah is a key player in the side and his absence is really being felt,” he told Happy FM.
“Mutawakilu is not much of a problem because we have Soulama and Tetteh Luggard.
“But then, Owusu-Bempah is a big loss since he can play in multiple positions on the team.
“If we are able to progress without him, it will show that the team has quality in-depth.”
