Chief Executive Officer of Hearts of Oak Mark Noonan has urged their fans to desist from any form of violent act ahead of Sunday's Super Clash against Asante Kotoko.
Following the Phobians 1-1 draw with Bechem United in week 9 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium last Sunday, some section of their supporters chanced on the team, the communications director of the club Kwame Opare Addo and administrative manager, Hackman Aidoo.
And Ahead of the big game against sworn rivals Asante Kotoko, Mr Noonan has entreated their fans to restrain from violence before, during and after the game.
"I ask for your support because this club obviously is important to football in Ghana and I want the supporters to set a standard of behaviour," he told the club's website.
"We win with class, we lose with dignity. We hold our heads high and we treat our fellow men and women with the dignity. I want our supporters to be incredibly behind the team. Nothing makes me sadder than see fighting ad violence and things that brings the game in disrepute and I really ask you guys to be passionate but do not cross the line. This is our brand."
Games involving Hearts and Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been filled with some much tension and the Phobians will want to comport themselves as they work on reviving their season.
