Hearts of Oak have been experiencing mixed results, Poor domestic league performance, but are doing well in the CAF Confederations Cup.

The Phobians seem to be getting an antidote to their poor league run, having gone undefeated in their last 2 league games while B.A United have lost their last 3 league games and have also lost all their 5 away games in the season, which is the worst.

B.A United are just placed below Hearts of Oak in the 15th position, but are separated by 5 points.

The Apostles of Power is in turmoil after Mohammed Gargo, their erstwhile coach, accused the playing body of engaging in betting activities to plan the defeat of the club.

B.A United consequently sacked Gargo, after a week in charge as Coach Frimpong Manso’s successor.

Hearts of Oak’s top scorer, Gilbert Fiamenyo is one of the joint leading top scorers in the league with 6 goals and he is going into this game following his match-winner against Olympique de Ngor last weekend.

The Phobians will still be missing the services of Owusu Bempah, who is with the Black Satellites in Senegal.

Head to head

-Hearts have beaten B.A United in all their 4 previous Ghana Premier League home games.

-B.A United walloped Hearts of Oak by 4-1 in the first ever league encounter between them at the Sunyani Coronation Park in 1994 and it is one of Hearts of Oak’s worst defeat in the league.

-The Phobians have won 5, lost 1 and drawn 1 against B.A United in the Ghana Premier League.
