Hearts publish audited accounts before Congress

Accra, Aug. 12, GNA - The management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has reminded it teeming fans to patronize the Club's Hearts News publications for information on the Club's audited accounts. It said the exercise which is in line with the decision of the Board of Directors to have the Club's audited accounts from 2005-2009 published in phases and ahead of the anticipated Congress. Mr Ashford Tettey Oku, Administrative Manager of Hearts in a press release copied to GNA Sports on Wednesday said the exercise is to help the supporters know of the Club's financial position before the next Congress.

He said the first publications of the 2005 audited accounts has been featured in the Tuesday, August 4 edition, the 2006 accounts follows in the August 11 ed ition whilst that of 2007 will follow in subsequent edition(s).

The release said the 2008 accounts which is being audited will also be published once it is presented to the Board by the Clubs Auditors - Prah Ameyaw and Company.

It has therefore called on all the Phobian supporters to ensure that they purchase the audited publications to be better informed about the financial position of the Club and adopt measures of contributing towards the onward match of the Club.
