Reports in the local media say Accra Hearts of Oak have handed an indefinite suspension to striker Gilbert Fiamenyo for an unruly behaviour at the club’s training grounds.
The 24-year-old according to Club sources was suspended after exchanging words with an official during the team’s training session.
Fiamenyo has been deemed sub-standard at the club hence getting limited playing time in the second half of the season.
The former Heart of Lions attacker is currently the Club’s top scorer in the ongoing First Capital Plus Premier League with eight goals.
The burly striker recently hit back at the Club’s supporters for criticizing him for allegedly leaking an audio tape involving three of his teammates ridiculing the team’s dwindling performance in the League which ultimately led to management suspending the trio.
The attacker upon his disruptive behavior at training has been dismissed from the team until further notice.
Reports are however rife that management are considering not to extend the contract of the former Ghana U23 forward at the end of the season.
