Accra, Nov 10, GNA - Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club have indicated their decision to appeal against the decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for declaring them losers of the abortive Seventh Week Premier League game against Tema Youth.

A statement signed by Mr Ashford Tettey-Oku, Administrative Manager of the Club copied to the GNA Sports said even though it has received the ruling of the Committee, it was not accompanied with reasons and are thus applying for the transcript of the proceedings. It said that the transcript will enable the Club file an appeal against the ruling within the stipulated time and therefore urged the supporters to remain calm as 'we wait for the transcript to enable us appeal against the decision'.

Hearts failed to appear for the said match claiming to have been served with a court injunction which sought to restrain the GFA from organising the league.

Meanwhile, rates for the Club's 10th week league match against Feyenoord have been reduced.

According to the statement, the rates have been reduced from 50,000 to 40,000 and fans have been urged to troop to the stadium in their numbers to witness the re-awakening of the Phobians with another convincing win.
