Accra Hearts of Oak is expected to name their head coach on Monday for the 2016/17 league season.
The club’s head coaching position became vacant after the resignation of stop-gap trainer Yaw Preko last month.
Over 30 coaches applied for the job with some foreign coaches also showing interest.
Board member Thomas Esso revealed to Starr FM on Thursday that they have received the applications and the shortlist will be made soon.
"We have about 30 coaches who have applied for the Hearts of Oak coaching job. We’ll appoint a substantive coach before the season starts”, he said.
Meanwhile, ex-Kotoko coach Henry Wellington Lamptey is currently the assistant coach and will be joined by a substantive on Monday after Hearts clash on Sunday with Kotoko in the ongoing G6 tournament.
