Champion Club, Accra Hearts of Oak, would on Sunday February 2, engaged Kwara United of Nigeria in an international friendly match at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Hearts are expected to use the match as a build up to their preparations towards the impending GHALCA Top Four, the National premier league and the African Cup Club Championship.
According to information gathered from secretariat of the club a flat rate of 10,000 and 15,000 would be charged at the gates.
The information also revealed that the Nigerian team would represent the country in the CAF Cup competition this year.
Speaking to the head coach Mr. Herbert Addo from Keta where the team is currently having its pre season preparations, he said the match would be the first competitive match for the team this year.
He said the team would use the match to test their physical, tactical and technical preparedness for the new season.
The coach said indications are that almost all the premier league clubs have vowed to annex the title this season and there is the need for Hearts to work harder to face the challenges.
Coach Addo said the players are undergoing an intensive physical exercises due to the long break, which has resulted in lost of fitness.
The coach explained that exercise would help the players to regain their fitness and expressed the hope that Hearts would start season on a bright note.
