ACCRA HEARTS of Oak leave for Burkina Faso on Tuesday to play Burkinabe national team, The Stallions, in a charity game.

The fixture, which is in aid of the victims of the May 9 stadium disaster, means that Hearts of Oak would not be able to honour their outstanding league match with Liberty Professionals, which was scheduled for Wednesday.

According to the Chief executive officer of Hearts of Oak, Harry Zakkour, Hearts will take their entire squad to honour the invitation, as directed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the FA's General Secretary, W.K. Agra.

"It's a charity match for the May 9 Accra Sports Stadium tragedy - that is why we are leaving to honour it. We will not be fielding two teams, one for the outstanding league game and the other to represent us in Burkina Faso," said Zakkour.

He added Hearts would honour its outstanding league game with Liberty Professionals when they return from Burkina Faso.

"The date for the outstanding match with Liberty Professionals has still not been communicated to us. We would play the match when we return," the Hearts boss concluded.
