Accra Hearts of Oak?s Coach Herbert Addo whose team was very impressive in their LG top four game against Kotoko on Sunday has said he is looking into the future of the team.

He told the GNA Sports that though his side played better today, (Sunday) the focus of the team presently is towards their participation in the CAF championship competition commencing in April.

The head coach said he was impressed about the play of the team adding ?we played an impressive game today and indications are that the spirit of the team is gradually taking shape.?

On what had seen the transformation, the coach said his boys were gradually responding to tactical instructions.

He explained that the absence of some influential players like Emmanuel Osei Kuffour, Joe Ansah and petit Charles Allotey when pre- season training began affected the team from the on set and expressed optimism that with the tempo of their play on Sunday, he could build a solid team before the CAF championship begins.

He said he is together with the other technical handlers of the team working upon mistakes the team committed during the championship.

On whether he was disappointed by the teams performance in the competition, he insisted that ? our focus was not to win the competition at all cost though it would have being a moral boaster; it is a stepping stone to Africa ? he said.

The coach said his team was presently getting focused since the management had taken major steps to solve their problems.
