Experienced gaffer Herbert Addo has rejected reports claiming he has opened talks with Hearts of Oak to take over the Phobians as head coach next season.
Reports incensed on social media and a section of the press suggesting Hearts of Oak Managing Director Neil Armstrong has contacted the former Aduana Stars hero to take charge of the club.
But Addo is currently contracted to fellow Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies and has rejected the reports insisting it would amount to a breach of his contract to hold talks with anybody about a move.
“Where did they talk to me and what did they say? Let me tell you it’s all lies because I’m concentrating on my job and no management member or whatsoever from Hearts of Oak has talked to me and am not even going to talk to anyone while am still on contract with Allies,” he told Ghana Sports.
A bent Addo is on a rescue mission at Inter Allies as he is keen to get them out of the relegation and ensure they remain on the Ghanaian top-flight.
“If they want to sign me they should talk to me at the end of the season, at the end of the season they can talk to me and even with that I have a long term contract with Allies and maybe I can break the contract and talk to them and that will be my own problem but I’m enjoying the contract with Allies very much.”
