German side TSG Hoffenheim have asked Ghana striker Prince Tagoe to return to the club in summer when his loan deal at Serbian side Partizan Belgrade expires.
German side have officially written to Tagoe’s loan club, Partizan Belgrade demanding his release for the pre-season training tour of Austria and the Americas.
The 24-year-old was farmed out to former the European champions in January after he was deemed as surplus to requirement.
Tagoe has netted four times in six league matches but cannot have his wish granted to extend his stay at the club.
“Naturally I would have preferred to stay in Partizan but there is little I can do as I have a running contract with Hoffenheim,” Tagoe is quoted by the 90 minutes newspaper.
