I Feel Great – Razak

Coach Abdul Karim Razak of Kumasi Asante Kotoko says says he fells great for leading his club to annex the second edition of the LG Top Four Tourney. Speaking to GNA Sports after a game with arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in the last match of the tournament, the coach said even though he took over the affairs of the team very late, he has been able to transform it into a winsome side.

According to Razak, the success of the team has been achieved through team work and co-operation by the playing body and management and he is looking forward to win more laurels for the club.

The "Golden Boy" said his will continue with the team building exercise and expressed the hope that the team would be in better shape before the league begins.

He said with the level of performance displayed by his boys, there is no doubt that they are going to make better impact in the 2003 league season.

He expressed satisfaction with the performance of his team during Sunday’s match adding that even though Hearts approached the match with a rugged attitude "we were able to contain them".

Coach Razak described Sunday’s match results as good since Kotoko had nothing to lose in the game because it had already won the trophy before the match.
