Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s Stephen Oduro is not ready to hang his boots despite lack of playing time with the Ghana champions.
Oduro, who has been with the team for more than a decade, admitted that he sometimes finds it difficult to cope with the current speed and aggressiveness of the game but doubts if he will hang his boot anytime soon.
“To be honest, I don’t know when I will retire from football, I’m enjoying it as the days go by, it’s been a wonderful 10 years for me and I’m really appreciative of what this team has done for me since day one.”
“I have been asked this question before and my answer is still the same, I sometimes get tired with the speed and the aggressiveness but that is the nature of the game.”
“I’m ready to make sure I win more laurels for Kotoko and see what the future holds for me, but now I’m not thinking about retirement.”
