Ghanaian teenage striker Godsway Donyoh has stated that he looks up to Black Stars striker Abdul Majeed Waris to nurture his career.

Both players were groomed at the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana before moving to Europe and the Spartak Moscow forward has been influential in the career of the budding striker.

"Abdul Majeed Waris is the one I look up to. He always encourages me, advice me and talk to me concerning how I will be successful in Sweden,” Donyoh, who is owned by Manchester City, told Goal Ghana in an exclusive interview

"I enjoyed my first season as a professional player very well and it was a good experience for me. I am happy with my output because at the beginning of the season I was not in the team but I trained hard, listened to advice and feedbacks from the coaches and it has worked perfectly for me to become a better player.”

Donyoh added: “Last season I scored nine goals for the Djurgarden team B, three for the senior team in friendly games and two in the league against the biggest clubs Hacken and Helsingborg. I want to score 12 to 15 goals next season.”

The striker who has been tipped for greater success also featured for Mobitel colts in Ghana.
